WWF Italia

Remote Monitoring Solar System

Challenge

WWF Italia needed a reliable source of renewable energy for a remote monitoring station located on a historic fire observation tower in the Monte Sant'Elia Oasis, in Puglia.

The system needed to power communication equipment while preserving the appearance of the tower and minimising the visual impact on the surrounding natural environment.

Solution

Levante designed and delivered a customised off-grid solar solution tailored to the site's technical and environmental requirements.

The solar panels and power stations were carefully selected and positioned to blend with the existing structure while providing reliable energy for continuous operation.

Challenge

The client wanted a custom solar installation for their cottage in the middle of the woods in the mountains of North Italy. The goal was to minimise the shading losses from the trees, and store the power in the portable battery Voltab.
