Yes, CarbonFlex panels are walkable.

Yes, our SoftGrip surface makes the panels safe and strong to walk on. Even when they are wet or warm under the sun.

Based on our testing, the panels get only 5-10 degree celsius warmer than regular boat surfaces.

All solar panels are effect by shading, but we minimise the power loss with ample bypass diodes. These diodes make sure that the panels do not shut down when they are partially shaded.

CarbonCore panels feature a carbon fibre core layer which provides rigidity. This makes the CarbonCore panels ideal for portability and stand-alone applications. They are not suitable for walking.

CarbonFlex on the other hand uses the rigidity of the surface they are glued to, for example the deck of boat. They can be walked on.

Both the technologies are developed in partnership with Solbian and manufactured in Italy under the highest quality standards. They have the same high efficiency Maxeon cells and hail-proof anti-skid SoftGrip surface.

The panels can be glued to a smooth surface with the pre-applied adhesive tape at the back of the panels.
