What’s included in the package?
In the box you will get a solar panel and MC4 cables to connect. Solar charge controller and batteries are not included.

Are batteries included?
No, batteries are not included. However you can purchase them separately on our website.

Is the panel waterproof?
Yes, the panel is waterproof.

Can I glue the panel to a flat surface?
Yes, we recommend using structural acrylic double-sided tape, ideal for flat and rigid surfaces. It creates small air channels that improve cooling and ensures a secure bond. Avoid generic adhesives that may damage the panel or reduce heat dissipation.

Can I walk on the panel?
Enecom aluminium panels have greater resistance to trampling than standard flexible panels.
However, they are not designed as a walking surface. Occasional light stepping (soft shoes, no sharp objects) is usually tolerated, but regular foot traffic may damage the solar cells and void the warranty.

How do I install the solar panel? Do I need assistance?
Enecom panels can be mounted with eyelets, Tenax Loxx fasteners, hinges, or structural acrylic tape, depending on the surface and application.

Can I use multiple panels together?
Panels can be used individually or connected in parallel/series depending on your setup.

Where can I install the solar panel?
On flat or slightly curved surfaces including boat cabin tops, camper van or RV rooftops, etc. (minimum bend radius 1.5 m / 59 in for accuracy and to prevent misuse).

How long do solar panels last?
Solar panels typically have a performance warranty of 25 years. The loss of performance is typically 1% per year. After five years, panels should still output at least 95% of the rated power, after 10 years they should output 90%, and after 25 years 80%.

Can I use my solar panel while sailing?
Yes, you can fix the panels to a surface using the eyelets or the acrylic double-sided tape pre-applied on the back.
